With Father’s Day fast approaching I thought it was about time I put together a list of all the fantastic presents I’ve recently spotted for anyone still struggling to find the perfect gift for their dad this year. They can be so tricky to buy for, can’t they?! Nathan always tells me not to bother getting him anything from the kids as there’s nothing he really ‘needs’, but I know he’d be secretly disappointed if I ever listened to him! Haha.

Aww. 5 Awesome Last-Minute Gift Ideas For Father’s Day

With Father’s Day fast approaching I thought it was time to put together a little last-minute gift guide for anyone still struggling to find the perfect present for their dad this year. They can be so hard to buy for, can’t they?! Nathan always tells me not to bother getting him anything from the kids as there’s nothing he really ‘needs’, but I know he’d be secretly disappointed if I ever listened to him! Haha.

So, the first gift in my Father’s Day Gift Guide this year is one that Nathan has been road-testing for me over the past couple of weeks. And that’s the Braun Series 3 ProSkin Electric Shaver. Nathan likes to have a clean shave on a Sunday evening ready for work the next day. This year I decided to treat my dad to a new watch for Father’s Day, and the one I went for is this gorgeous black modern-vintage one from Personally Presented. We’ll all be lining the shops and looking for the best presents to buy, all with the hope of showing our thankfulness and appreciation for the role our dad has played in our life. Some of us may have forgotten the last one, but this time we’ll get it right for sure! June 17th!

The best kind of gift comes with knowing the person you’re buying for. Hopefully by now we should know our father’s well enough to be certain of what they’ll like. I know I say this every May, but can you believe how fast this year is going? I certainly can’t! It doesn’t seem like two minutes since I was writing my last Fathers Day Gift Guide, yet here I am putting together this year’s. I’ve been surfing the net for the last few days, picking out the top ten gifts I think dads up and down the country will truly appreciate on Sunday 18th June. And I hope it gives you some inspiration for what you can treat your own dad, grandad or father figure in your life to this year. Enjoy.

Ted Baker Space and Time Travel Wallet and Pen Set*

First up in this years Fathers Day Gift Guide I’ve picked out this gorgeous travel wallet and pen set from Ted Baker. It’s made from the most beautifully soft, black faux-leather, with stylish brogue detailing down the front. What more can you ask for in a fragrance?

When I came across this awesome guitar-shaped pizza cutter over on the Getting Personal website recently, I just couldn’t resist adding it to my Fathers Day Gift Guide! Made from beech wood and stainless steel, this novelty cutter reads ‘Rockin & Rollin’ and can be personalised with the lucky recipient’s name.

I hadn’t come across anything like this before, but it really made me smile when I saw it, and I can think of lots of men in my life who would be happy to receive a gift like this. In fact, it make my own pizza cutter look so plain and boring I’m considering treating myself to one. Do you think I should?!

I don’t know about you guys, but I absolutely love gifting items that I know the recipient won’t be expecting. And I think this shows whenever I write a gift guide here on my blog. This year, I was searching for a gift for someone who is really adventurous, and I came across this compass over at Not on the High Street. Isn’t it just beautiful?

The compass presented in an expensive looking mahogany stained wooden box with monogrammed brass plate, and can be personalised with a special message for the lucky recipient. It reminded me a lot of a compass that my uncle used to have when I was a kid, and it brought back a lot of great memories for me.

Oh my goodness, can you guys believe that Fathers Day in the UK is almost upon us?! This year is going ridiculously fast! And it’s time for me to pick out another 10 gifts that I’m sure any dad would be over the moon to receive this year. I hope you guys like them …

You can also add a personal message at the front of the book, but at the moment you can’t alter the actual storyline. But it’s a charming little story anyway so I don’t think that would be an issue for anyone. And I’ve just spotted that you can buy a ‘My Grandpa’ version of this book as well, which is ideal for those of us who like to treat their grandad’s to a little something on Fathers Day too.

L’Homme Collection Candle : Scotch Whiskey – £37.50
If your dad is a fan of burning candles then why not treat him to this gorgeous one from Amara that smells like – wait for it – Scotch Whiskey! I was kindly sent one of these to try out and it really is a fabulous candle. It has the lovely subtle honey scent to it which you so often smell in whiskey, and I was extremely impressed with just how evenly it burned, as it means it’s much more likely to last for the full 40 hours of burn time it claims to.

The candle is encased in a smoked brown glass vessel and is presented in a gorgeous crocodile effect gift box with a wax seal on the front – perfect for the modern gentleman and a gift that dad is sure to love this Fathers Day!

Stag Canvas – from £65
As soon as I saw this wonderful Stag Canvas on the popular website, Not on the High Street, I just knew I had to include it in this years Fathers Day Gift Guide. There’s definitely something really magical about the look of a deer and I feel that the artist has managed to capture its beauty stunningly in this particular piece.

The artwork is available to buy in 5 different sizes, and is professionally printed on 100% cotton canvas then stretched by hand and gallery wrapped around a 38mm wooden frame so it’s ready to hang instantly as soon as the lucky recipient gets their hands on it! I think that this is something both my own dad and Nathan would love to receive as a gift, and I’m sure there are millions of other men around the world who would do to. It’s just gorgeous!

Desktop Cinema Light Box – £14.99
Cinema Light Boxes are all the rage at the moment, and I love this desktop version I found over on the Firebox website. At just £14.99 it’s a total bargain, and comes with 69 flexible interchangeable acetate letters, numbers, and symbols that dad could use to spell out words on 3 rows of space. The light box is powered by batteries, so he can pop it wherever he wants to, and there are also fixings on the back so it can be mounted on the wall.

I think this would make a really cool, unique gift idea for the fun-loving dad, and it’s bound to be talked about as one of the best gifts he’s ever received for years to come. You could even spell out ‘Happy Fathers Day’ on the light box before you wrap it and give it to him to make it even more special. Is it wrong that I want one for myself now?!

Cardholder Wallet – £19.99
If your dad is the sort of guy who likes to keep his driving license and debit and credit cards super duper safe then why not treat him to this amazing Cardholder Wallet from Menkind this Fathers Day? If you watched Britain’s Got Talent this year you’ll already know how much Stormtrooper’s love to boogie! So if your dad is a die-hard Star Wars fan, and loves to listen to music then this Stormtrooper Bluetooth Speaker will be right up his street.

For the dad who has everything, or for one who likes to try out nice new male grooming products every once in a while, I highly recommend filling him a little box or basket full of products from Seascape’s ‘Homme’ range. They all smell absolutely divine as well as being specifically designed to reinvigorate and refresh the daily grooming routine. And as with all of Seascape’s ranges, each of the products include a selection of powerful, natural ingredients.

Another present I’ve been considering getting for my dad is a driving experience. I think it’s probably most car lovers’ dream to be able to drive something like these so it would make a super special gift that they’re bound to remember forever.

One of the reasons I’d like to get my dad a voucher to do something like this is because sadly he had a stroke last year and hasn’t driven his car since. I know he’d really like to, but since it happened he’s lost a lot of his confidence and worries that he’ll forget to check simple things like whether or not there’s petrol in the car, or that his tyres might wear down and he won’t notice whereas before he’d have been on the phone to Point-S straight away to get replacement ones. I guess what I’m saying is that with a driving experience it would be someone else’s job to ensure that everything is safe and sound and he can just sit back, relax and enjoy driving around for a couple of hours! And of course I can go along with him and cheer him on. I think it would do wonders for his self-esteem!

Black Dust Suede Bomber Jacket – £125
This year the bomber jacket has made a massive comeback, and I love this sand coloured suede one I found over at ASOS this week! It has a zip-up fastening, baseball collar and ribbed hem and cuffs, and it’s also lined and features an internal pocket. At £125 it’s quite pricey, but as it’s 100% real leather I think it’s worth it – especially if you’re looking to spend a little more on your dad this year.

As Nathan enjoys a glass of brandy or two at the weekend, we thought this personalised brandy would be the perfect gift for him this year. Stacey personalised Nathan’s with a message saying “Happy Fathers Day 2015. With love from Stacey & Oscar xxx”. I hope that Nathan likes it too!

I know I’ve spoken about Yucoco Personalised Chocolate on my blog before, but since I’m a big fan, I just had to include them in this years Fathers Day Gift Guide!
