It’s no secret that I like pretty things. My jewellery boxes are full to the brim with necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings, and I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m always happy to receive more.
I recently got my hands on a brand new piece of jewellery from Lily Charmed, one of my favourite online jewellery retailers, and today I thought I’d do a little review and tell you all about them.
Lily Charmed was launched in 2011 by cousins Marcus Pearce and Lucy Lee, and named after Marcus’ daughter Lily. Their aim was to create a desirable collection of charm jewellery that could be worn and loved every day, with each piece being hand finished, and packaged in a gift box tied with ribbon.
Nowadays they add ‘sentiment cards’ to frame their necklaces and bracelets, meaning that when you purchase one as a gift, you can add a special message for your loved one as well – making it extra special!
I’ve been fan of Lily Charmed for a good few years now, and have quite a few of their pieces in my collection. The latest addition to it is this gorgeous silver sweet heart charm necklace.
The necklace itself is sterling silver, and has a polished finish. I think it looks absolutely stunning! The length of the chain is 40cm-45cm and you can easily adjust it to suit. You can also pay a little extra if you prefer a longer chain (61cm) but I personally think the standard size is perfect.
The heart charm looks beautiful on its own, but I love the fact that mine has two additional charms on it with the initials ‘S’ and ‘O’. These stand for Stacey and Oscar, who are my two beautiful children.
I’m a big fan of cluster necklaces so the way you can make a Lily Charmed chain your own really appeals to me. It’s really simple to get started. All you need to do is head over to their ‘design your own page’, and then follow the instructions on screen. It will guide you through the entire process, from choosing your chain or bracelet, to adding the charms and even writing a special message. It couldn’t be easier!
I couldn’t get a great photo of me wearing mine as I’m rubbish at taking selfies, but I think you can get a picture of how it looks when on. My friends and family keep saying how lovely it is and asking where it’s from!
Lily Charmed necklaces are really affordable, yet look a lot more expensive than they actually are! They make great gifts for things such as Mother’s Day (which is on March 15th this year), Valentine’s Day, Christmas and Birthday’s. I also think they’re great to buy as a cheeky little gift to yourself!
As well as sterling silver pieces, Lily Charmed also offer a range of 9 carat gold jewellery. Their online store seems to grow on a daily basis and the choices available are just amazing! They have a wide range of necklaces, bracelets and earrings and some of the designs are also available as a set.
Overall I think the quality of Lily Charmed jewellery is fantastic and I will most definitely continue to purchase items from them this year. Great job Marcus and Lucy … keep up the good work!
