With Father’s Day fast approaching I thought it was time to put together a little last-minute gift guide for anyone still struggling to find the perfect present for their dad this year. They can be so hard to buy for, can’t they?! Nathan always tells me not to bother getting him anything from the kids as there’s nothing he really ‘needs’, but I know he’d be secretly disappointed if I ever listened to him! Haha.
So, make sure you’re sitting comfortably, then I’ll jump right in and tell you which 5 awesome last-minute gift ideas I’ve picked out for Father’s Day this year. Are you ready? Then let’s go!
Braun Series 3 ProSkin Electric Shaver –
So, the first gift in my Father’s Day Gift Guide this year is one that Nathan has been road-testing for me over the past couple of weeks. And that’s the Braun Series 3 ProSkin Electric Shaver. This particular razor is a brand new 3-in-1 solution for men who want to choose between either having a clean shave or a more precise beard style with just one device. The shaving head attachment works in straight intuitive strokes so there’s no need to circle over the same spot twice, helping to minimise skin irritation. When he fancies a stubble or beard he can just swap from the shaver head to the trimmer head, plus one of the 5 combs and can precisely trim between 1 and 7mm.
Nathan likes to have a clean shave on a Sunday evening ready for work the next day. And I’ve noticed that since he started using the Braun Series 3 ProSkin Electric Shaver he actually spends a lot less time in the bathroom as the razor captures more hair in the first stroke than his old, manual razor ever did. He seems to stay stubble-free for longer as well, which is great! Nathan loves that he can charge the shaver up in just 5 minutes flat, as well as being able to use it both wet and dry. And the sleek and stylish design is perfect for the modern man. We both highly recommend it!
This year I decided to treat my dad to a new watch for Father’s Day, and the one I went for is this gorgeous black modern-vintage one from Personally Presented. The watch is a Mr Beaumont one, and these particular watches are modern in design but with classic, timeless touches – making them a gift that is sure to stand the test of time. The watch is made from genuine leather and has a large 41mm dial with metalic silver details that really make a statement.
The watch can be personalised on the reverse with a message of up to 5 lines, which I think makes it extra special. And it comes beautifully presented in Mr Beaumont’s trademark gift box with a leather watch protector. I’m sure my dad will treasure this forever, as he always seems to like the gifts I buy for him. When I was 15 I bought him a Super Dad mug and he still uses it now – a whole 18 years later!
If it’s dads first Father’s Day, then how about doing something a little different and dressing your little one in a super cute bodysuit with a special message to dad on? I think he’d love it! I found this particular one at My First Years, and I think it’s the perfect keepsake to remember the big occasion.
This sweet little bodysuit is adorned with a ‘1st Father’s Day’ print which babies are sure to look adorable in. It is crafted from 100% ultra soft cotton, and has below-the-waist popper fastenings so little ones will remain comfortable all day while they’re rolling around, playing and snoozing with Daddy – as well as ensuring they can slip out of it quickly incase of any accidental spills! The design can be personalised with your little ones name as well. I think it makes such a unique gift that daddy is sure to love.
If you guys follow me on Instagram, you’ll probably have noticed that I’ve been talking about a chocolate company called ‘The Slabb’ a lot recently. And because I’ve been loving spending my evenings scoffing their yummy chocolate, I couldn’t resist adding one of their products to my Father’s Day Gift Guide this year! The one I’ve chosen to include is their Amaretto Chocolate Bar, which comes with an equally delicious giant Cherry Amaretto Lollipop from Holly’s Lollies.
I love The Slabb as their chocolate is absolutely delicious, and you get a nice big bar for your money as well. They always come beautifully presented and I love that the lollipop in this particular set also has a ‘Happy Father’s Day’ sticker on it. I think this is the perfect present for the dad (or grandad) with the sweet tooth, and if he’s not a fan of amaretto then they have loads of other flavours to choose from too. Yum!
The Masterpan –
And, finally, if your dad is someone who likes to do a lot of cooking then you may have heard him moaning that there is never enough rings on the hob for him to cook all the foods he wants to at once. And if this is the case, I’ve found him the most perfect Father’s Day gift in the world. Yes, ladies and gents, I bring you … The MasterPan!
The MasterPan (I love the name BTW), is a revolutionary piece of cookware which allows you to cook 5-6 different foods all at the same time! Suitable for all cooking surfaces, the MasterPan can grill meats and fish to perfection without overcooking your veggies. It is made from die-cast aluminium, has a double non-stick coating so you don’t have to flood it with oil, and it’s super easy to clean (and dishwasher safe too).
So whether dad likes fiery fajitas, a medley of vegetables or the ultimate fry-up, you can make his day by allowing him to stop faffing around with multiple pots and pans and help him become the culinary master he was destined to be! I might have to get one of these for myself, actually.
And there you have it, my last-minute Father’s Day Gift Ideas for 2018. I hope you found something on there that your dad would like if you haven’t already bought him a gift.
