Getting married involves a lot of organisation and planning. You’ll need to get yourself a dress, book a venue for the big day, and consider lots of different caterers and evening entertainment options. But the wedding isn’t the only thing you have to plan for – don’t forget about your hen do!
Most brides to be consider their hen do their last big celebration with all of their closest friends before they settle into married life. Sure, hens might have a reputation for being drunk and disorderly, but there really isn’t any need for yours to be fueled by alcohol if you don’t want it to be. After all, it would be terrible if you woke up the following day and couldn’t remember anything about it! So, it’s a good idea to go with a sophisticated hen do that won’t leave you feeling embarrassed. Here are some super stylish travel ideas that are full of sophistication and class!
A Spa Weekend
If you just want to spend the weekend relaxing with all of your besties, why not book into your nearest spa hotel? There are lots of these around the country, and they have now even started popping up around Europe too. You will be able to spend a few nights in luxurious rooms and enjoy all of their perks, such as room service and movie channels. But the best thing about these hotels is all of the various spa treatments that they have on offer. You and your girls can enjoy massages and various beauty treatments or you can just spend an hour or so sweating off toxins in the saunas. Most spa hotels have on site dining facilities so you can enjoy a slap-up meal every evening as well.
Afternoon Tea
If you don’t have enough time to dedicate an entire weekend to your hen party, you can just cram in all the sophistication into one afternoon with a sumptuous afternoon tea. London is the place to go for afternoon tea as most of the big hotels serve it. And you don’t have to be a guest at the hotel to enjoy it! Dubai Shopping Trip
Of course, Dubai is one of the most luxe destinations on the planet, so you might have to save up quite a bit if you want to jet off to this Emirate. But it really will be worth it! This is the best location for you if you and all your hens are shopaholics. There are endless shopping opportunities, and you will be able to spend days browsing the upmarket boutiques and traditional markets and bazaars. If you want to really go that extra mile, then why not book some accommodation in one of the world’s highest hotel? The Burj Al Arab is the third tallest hotel in the whole world!
A European Weekend
The top destinations for hen dos in Europe include Dublin, Barcelona, and Ibiza. To keep things on the cheaper side, heading over to Europe is probably the best bet. Berlin is a really lively city and extremely cheap compared to most capital cities. Generally speaking, the further east you travel in Europe, the cheaper accommodation and eating out will be. If you want to soak up a romantic atmosphere to get you in the mood for marriage, visit Paris, the European capital of love! Want to splash out on a plush European trip? Milan in Italy features lots of luxe accommodation, or you might want to head up to Scandinavia for some nordic treats.
As you can see, you don’t have to stick to a standard night out for your hen party. The hen do should be extremely memorable, so it’s important you don’t feel obliged to follow the crowd and just get drunk. Why not pack your bags and travel to a truly amazing location? There are lots of awesome hen do worthy destinations all around the world. Sometimes, you might not even need to leave Britain!

Wonderful. A spa weekend in Dubai is the best. I need to go back to my favorite spa soon for some pampering. I have been working so hard lately my body is telling me to slow down and take it easy.
