You guys may or may not know this about me already, but I have a little bit of a Disney obsession. It all began back when I was a little girl and my mum encouraged me to watch The Brave Little Toaster with her. Have you ever seen that movie? Probably not as I’m getting on a bit now and it’s not been re-released as far as I’m aware. Anyway, from there I started watching other Disney movies like Cinderella, Snow White, and Robin Hood, to name just a few, and over the years my love for Walt’s incredible animated movies grew.
Today, I enjoy watching Disney movies with my two kids, Stacey and Oscar, and we have quite the collection of merchandise to go along with them. From mugs and crockery to clothing and ornaments, our Disney collection seems to get bigger every day. And since I’m always lusting after more, I thought I’d share some of the items on my Disney Wishlist with you guys today. I hope you enjoy reading it.
Chip Mug – £5.00
First up, I have my eye on this super cute Chip mug from Primark. He’s from the movie Beauty and the Beast, and I love this particular mug because he’s blowing bubbles just like he does in one of my favourite scenes. I believe this is the second Chip mug that Primark have brought now. And I remember the first ones selling out super fast because literally, all the Disney fans were after them! I’m hoping these ones don’t sell quite as fast so I can get my hands on one. LOL. I think this mug would be perfect for drinking my morning cuppa from, and at just £5.00, it’s a real bargain too. I love it!!
Minnie Mouse Tangle Teezer – £13.50
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a big fan of the Tangle Teezer, and they currently have a range of Disney themed brushes in their collection. I absolutely love this black and red brush with a picture of the wonderful Minnie Mouse on, and think it would be perfect for using to get those nasty knots out of my hair every day! If you’ve never used a Tangle Teezer before then I highly recommend them. They’re super gentle on my hair, yet leave it looking silky, smooth and tangle free. What’s not to love?! You can find out what other Disney Tangle Teezer’s are available by clicking here.
Cogsworth Clock – £10.00
Last time I went in my local Primark, I spotted one of these gorgeous Cogsworth clocks. But I didn’t have any spare cash on me at the time, so sadly I couldn’t treat myself to him. I was absolutely gutted and just know they won’t have him in stock the next time I visit! Cogsworth is super cute, and although he doesn’t have a swinging pendulum, the hands of the clock really do go round so you can use him to see what time it is. I think he’d look fab sitting on my mantelpiece, and I love that he looks pretty much exactly the same as he does in the Beauty and the Beast movie. I can’t believe I couldn’t buy him the other week! Aargh, having no spare cash on you can be super annoying. Have you guys found him in your local Primark yet? Be sure to let me know in the comments below.
Magic Lamp Teapot – £10.00
Another Primark item I would just love to get my hands on is this charming little teapot in the shape of Aladdin’s lamp. Aladdin is one of my all-time favourite Disney movies, so it would be amazing to own a piece of merchandise like this. And, let’s face it, I drink a lot of tea so it would be sure to get a lot of use! The teapot is a shiny gold colour, and I think it would look lovely alongside all the copper I currently have in my kitchen. I’ve heard these teapots are quite rare, so if I come across one I’ll be super lucky. I’m keeping everything crossed!
101 Dalmatians iPhone Case – £12.00
I’m currently in need of a new case for my iPhone 6, and I’ve been lusting after this adorable 101 Dalmatians one that I came across at ASOS. The case is made of clear plastic and has little dalmatian pups printed all over it. It’s too cute! I don’t see merchandise with 101 Dalmatians on as much as I see some of the other movie characters, so I think this would make a nice change. I might just order it when I’ve finished writing this blog post. Especially as ASOS are giving their customers 20% off everything when you checkout using the code EVERY20 at the moment. I think that offers great value for money as phone cases can often be quite expensive. What do you guys think?
Aladdin Notebook and Pen Gift Set – £15.00
ASOS are really killing it with their new Disney range, and the next item of theirs that I have my beady little eye on is this gorgeous Aladdin notebook and pen set. The notebook is blue and has ‘A Whole New World’ written across the front, with pictures of Aladdin and Jasmine surrounding it. The inside of the book is lined, and there’s also a blue bookmark included. I think this would be perfect for jotting down all the blog post ideas I have swirling around in my head at the moment. The pen included in this gift set is gold with a genie lamp on top. Isn’t it cute? I think it’s definitely one of the nicest Disney pens I’ve ever seen. The set is selling for £15 at the moment, which I think is a little bit pricey for what you’re getting. But if you’re a big fan of Disney like me, you’re probably going to find this one hard to resist!
Mickey Mouse Measuring Spoon Set – £6.00
If you’ve been to a Disney Store recently, you’ll probably have noticed that they have a shiny new baking range, which is just gorgeous. As I already have a lot of baking stuff in my cupboards, I had to stop myself from buying, well, pretty much everything. But I do still have one item from the collection that went straight onto my wishlist. And that’s this adorable Mickey Mouse Measuring Spoon Set. I love how each measuring spoon has been turned into one of Mickey’s arms, and then his hands are holding onto a ring in the centre. Now, I have to be honest and say I already have a couple of measuring spoon sets, but none are as cute or as fun as this one, so I most definitely want to add it to my baking collection!
Sebastian Pool Float – £40.00
I have to be honest and say I don’t have any big holiday’s or anything planned this year, but that doesn’t stop me wanting this awesome Sebastian pool float from The Disney Store. Look how big it is!! The Little Mermaid is one of my favourite Disney films (I’m aware I’ve said that about a fair few different ones now), and I can just imagine me and the kids being somewhere warm and sunny with a private pool, splashing around on Sebastian while singing our favourite Disney songs. I do think £40.00 is a tad expensive for a pool float, but I’m guessing the quality of this will be a lot better than that of the cheaper floats, so that’s sure to make up for it. And it’s really different to all the unicorns and pizzas that we saw floating about last year!
Merci Handy Hand Gel Kit – £14.90
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you’ll probably have noticed that I really like Merci Handy hand gel. And because of how good they are, I really want their super cute Disney Hand Gel Kit. The kit includes 6 little pocket bacs with different characters on such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, and more, and they each have a different scent. The hand gels come packed in a limited edition Mickey Mouse case, and I don’t think these will be around for long so I’m hoping to pick a pack up on my next payday. I can’t wait!
Thumper Duvet Cover Set – price unknown
And last but not least is this adorable bedding set with Thumper printed all over it. Isn’t it just lovely?! Thumper has been one of my favourite Disney characters for as long as I can remember, and I’d love to snuggle down in this adorable bedding every night. I think the colour of this is perfect for Spring and Summer, and it would go perfectly in my grey and white bedroom. I’m not sure how much this particular bedding is, but I do know that it’s available in 3 different sizes: single, double and king. I think this would make a lovely little gift for a Disney fan.
I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the lovely Disney bits and bobs I have my eye on at the moment. I think my favourites have to be the Chip mug and the Merci Handy Pocket Bacs. And maybe the Sebastian pool float. Aargh, who am I kidding? I love them all! I’m always on the lookout for new Disney pieces to add to my collection so I’m sure I’ll be doing another post similar to this one soon.
Have you picked up any Disney bits recently? Or have your eye on something you love?
