Over the next couple of weeks I’m going to be attending quite a few Christmas events. And as I’m a typical female, I have a wardrobe full of clothes but nothing to wear! I’ve spent many an hour over the last few days looking at beautiful clothes online. And I was really impressed by some pieces I found at a store called Splash, who stock loads of absolutely gorgeous fashion brands!
I know you guys enjoy reading my fashion wishlists, so I thought I’d share some pictures of the clothes I found with you for today’s blog post. And as always I’d love to hear your thoughts on them. Happy reading everyone …
First up I’ve picked out this gorgeous loose fitting black shirt from a brand called Finders Keepers. I love that it doesn’t have a collar on, as it makes it really different to all the other shirts I own. It has a button-down front and buttoned cuffs, and I think it would look great both dressed up for a night out, and dressed down with jeans and boots for a more casual daytime look. A real versatile piece that I would be sure to get my money’s worth out of!
Next I came across this really unique looking black crop top from House of Zhivago. It has three quarter length sleeves with the most gorgeous fringed lacing down each one. As well as mesh panels and embroidered detailing across the whole piece. I think this would look fab with a really bright pink coloured skirt or maybe even some black leather leggings and killer heels! It’s perfect for the Christmas party season and I’m sure I would get lots of wear out of it next year too as I’ve already been invited to lots of parties and events. So cute!
Now, I have to admit that I don’t wear skirts very often. But when I spotted this one on the Splash website I just couldn’t resist adding it to my wishlist. It’s from a brand called Sir the Label, and it’s made of plain black linen, which should make it nice and comfortable to wear. It has a slide hook fastening through the wrap and the front of the skirt, so it should feel nice and secure when on. And I think it would look absolutely stunning with the fringed lace crop top I mentioned before.
O.M.G – just how stunning is this halter maxi dress by the brand Blue Life?! I don’t usually wear maxi dresses but I think the burnt amber colour of this one is just stunning. It has two high side slits, elasticated waistband and you can even adjust the neckline too. I think I’d wear it with a tan coloured belt like the one the model has on in the picture, but I’d probably choose either high heeled sandals or flip flops rather than shoe boots for my feet. Again, I feel I’d get a lot of wear out of this dress as it could work for both Christmas parties in the winter and barbecue’s or picnic’s in the park during the summer. If I buy anything from my Splash fashion wishlist in the near future it will definitely be this. I just love it!
Something I have a lot of in my wardrobe is playsuits. But that doesn’t stop me from buying more! I added this porcelain coloured one by Alice McCall to my wishlist because it’s quite different to all the other ones I own. It has macrame on the shoulder, under arm and back, and it looks like it would be quite cute to wear at a festival next year! The playsuit is loose fitting, has a deep V neckline and has a fabric tie around the waist. I think it looks beautiful on and I’m sure if I owned something like this I would be the envy of all my friends!
Do you know something – I haven’t owned a bomber jacket since the 1990’s! And ever since they’ve been back in style I’ve wanted to buy one. But I just hadn’t come across any that really had the wow factor. Until now! This Bossa Bad Bitch Bomber Jacket is right up my street. It’s made of a satin material with gold hardware, and has side pockets and a zip closure. I love the ribbed cuffs too – my older bomber had those so it takes me right back to being a teenager! Just fantastic.
And last but certainly not least I picked out these black ‘Blair’ pumps from Raye Shoes. They have quite a heighty heel – 4″ approximately. I don’t mind this though as I’m quite short so always happy to look a little taller! The pumps have a suede upper with man made sole, covered button accents and a back zip closure. I love them.
And there you have it – my Splash Fashion Wishlist. It was really hard to choose just these 7 items as they have so many gorgeous pieces on their site at the moment.
